AOL bot keeps dropping offline

Every so often, your AIM bot drops offline, but other networks are fine. After a little while the AIM bot comes back. What's going on?

Have you told AIM that this is a bot? AOL has rate limits in place for users, and if an AIM user sends a message too often, AIM will kick the user.

You can tell AIM your screenname is a bot by going to http://dev.aol.com/aim/bots, clicking "Bot My Screenname" and logging in with your bot's credentials.
