I personally feel you guys need to have a blg that talks about the issues in the problem section. It is really hard when we (the users) are sitting out here wondering what is going on with our reported defects and there is sporadic communications. I am thinking something that is periodic in nature and reasonably easy to handle (time wise).

There is a status blog at http://status.imified.com/ -- it is also
linked from the help.imified.com page. Most significant postings to
the status blog are also cross-posted to Twitter.

The key word there is "most significant" and I am stating that I think the fact that Yahoo and MSN are not working at all is pretty significant and warrants some periodic updates. I am not sure but I bet others here might feel the same. I am not saying that three times a week you need to update it, but maybe have a Yahoo Issue blog and at least periodically let people know what is going on. The problem is that the Problem section seems eerily quiet regarding all these issues.

    See http://status.imified.com/post/211153285/yahoo-connection-issues from Oct 1.

Yahoo changed their protocol. We have a plan to fix it, but no
estimated time to have it done. It will likely be several weeks.

Is there a status discussion regarding MSN as well? The MSN BOT never responds and I cannot send any messages to it. I perused http://status.imified.com/ and did not find one; but Yahoo is not the only problem child messenger.

Hi, I've tested a number of msn bots that all appear to be working as they should. Could you let me know what the msn screen name is for the bot in question so I can investigate?

    ***@live.com

It is using the same bot as pl8link for AIM and ***@bot.im and both work perfectly.

The bot responses should be like this (it is designed in a way that it will always respond):

    First Response:
    ---------------------
Welcome to Pl8Link's Messaging system. If you are trying to join, please go to http://www.pl8link.com and join there otherwise enter your message OR verify code below as the email stated.

    Subsequent Responses (for unrecognized messages):
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
We did not recognize your message. Send for help by typing the word help all by itself in a message.

    Thank You,

webguru, are you still having MSN issues? We did fix a bug last night that appears to have only been affecting certain end users using msn bots specifically. I just tested your aim and msn screen names and both appear to be online and responding.
