spliting up large messages

Hey guys

I want to be able to send several paragraphs of text as a response, but it's too long to send in one message. Is there a trick to accomplish this in a normal response (ie. embed a seperator tag) in a bot response so that imified will split the message up?)

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob

No, we don't have any built in mechanism for identifying split points. You
can use the send api to do your own splitting.

    Ok. Cool, thanks!

    Btw.
Do you know of a way to set a 'delivery" delay. Ie. I'll shoot over 3
msgs via the api, ie. I want each to have a 15 or 30 second delay
    between each consecutive message.
If you support this, I'd rather use it then rolling my own delaying or
    setting up a chron job/queue

    Thanks

No, we don't, you'll have to apply your own delay logic. We try to stay a
"platform" as much as possible in these cases.

Fair enough. I was thinking of just using a worker type queue, but actually,
that's a project for another day.

    Thanks Dave!
