Twitter Bot - accessing Meta Information from Tweet

I'm working on a Twitter bot application and want to know if it is possible (or if there are any plans in the hooper) to allow access to some of the meta information that is included in a Tweet.

I'm thinking specifically of the lat/long values that are sent as part of Geotagged Tweets. Is it possible to obtain this information, or is just the body of the Tweet itself available?

    At this time, only the body of the tweet is available.
