My bot(***@bot.im) is down from 12 hours,I tried restarting it many times. I want to ask if this downtime occurs regular and what can I do in those times to bring it back online.

We've been working through some connection issues today. Jabber, MSN,
Yahoo, and AIM bots have had intermittent connections for the last 12
hours. We've just about got it resolved and all bots should stabilized
    shortly.

Would it be possible to implement logging? For example, with Google App Engine, I can always go to the log to check on recent activity with my apps. Debugging is nice, but logging would be great.

Logging is something that's on the todo list, but it's not scheduled to be coming very soon. You can always use your web server's log files or build logging into your own application.
