After a few days of relatively stable connection on my Yahoo bot with very few restart/reconnect attempt, a few days ago my bot went down again with similar symptoms with my previous problem. Then it went online for about 24 hours.

a few hours ago my bot on yahoo network went offline. Usually i can get it back online by restarting the bot but it did not work. Sometimes I deactivate the network and the reconnect/activate to get it back online again.

But this time, I can't reconnect. I tried many times, sometimes it took more than 10 minutes before it finally said "timeout"

I too, but today, i have a different problem: my bot status is online, but it can't reply anything. PHP page don't have any change from last good working.

and I deactive it and I can't active it, always "wrong username & password", but it true.

I have the same problem. i enter a correct username and password but i get this message Connection failed. Check the username/password you entered. and my bot doesn't respond to my PMs while the debugger respond correctly.

Noticing the same problem as well. Some of my Messenger bots are online, but will not respond to any messages. The ones that I take offline to try and fix, I cannot re-active them and get 'Check the username/password you entered'. Debugger works for me too

So, i guess it's not just Yahoo, but Windows Live Messenger too which is busted.

    Just an update:
As of a few hours ago, messages have started flowing again. I was also able to sign-in my other bot, and am not getting that 'Check the username/password.' error anymore when trying to active the bot.

And I just tried to restart my bot, disconnect and re-activate. but still not able to reactivate, still saying "Connection failed. Check the username/password you entered". I Tried several Yahoo accounts, all failed with same message.

Try deleting the bot profile and re-create.

    Works for me...

Ya, i'm getting the error again today - i'm going to try the workaround that mongobread has suggested

One other thing to add, it's interesting that even after 'deactivating' within the current instance, the msn messenger (windows live) screen name still stays online. It's almost like the msn bot or yahoo bot is disconnected from imified, i can boot it offline by signing into it via a normal client.

Re: Creating a new profile/instance. Didn't work for me, I still get the Check the username/password.' error when trying to active the Bot on MSN/Live

Hi Dave, i'm seeing the issue again. Since about 9PM EST - haven't been able to receive a msg from any of my msn bots. They all appear online though

I think the issue is happening again (Where no responses are coming from the online MSN bots). Dave can you confirm on your end. I haven't been able to get a response since around 10:45am
