MSN problem?

Whenever I send a message to my bot to deliver via the MSN network, I receive a success message from the API, but I never receive the IM on my MSN account.

Is the problem that users must first add the bot to their contact list before they can receive messages from it? If so, is there a way to request an add via the API?

    Hi Brian,

From what i've read in the documentation, the user must add you first and then send a message to your bot. I believe this is an anti-spamming technique used by the guys at imified. Also, i don't believe this workflow is limited to the MSN network.

Sending a request (even to request an add') would probably violate the condition i stated above. I haven't seen an api for this yet, but i'm still new around these parts..
