Status
Hi,
I've made an HTML page and tied it to the api script that sets the status. A user will be able to enter the status in a form bar on the html page. This worked successfully for Twitter, but when I removed the "network" setting option so that it broadcasts the status to all networks, the status was not updated anywhere. Is removing the network option the right way to broadcast to all networks?
Another question I had was, that for some time now, my bots are appearing on their respective networks not under their nicknames, but under their set usernames (in my case, for example: CBot1 is appearing as ***@live.com.sg). Can you set it so that only the nicknames appear? I'm also wondering if this is in any way related to the updating status problem...
Thanks once again,
Gautam

Hello,
When updating the status, the network is required. Removing that field will result in none of them being updated. If you need to set more than one status at a time, you would need to send multiple requests.

The nickname issue is something separate. As it stands today, the nicknames are only for internal use, and are not yet used in way you are expecting.
I hope this answers your questions.

Hi,
Thanks for the tips. I'm primarily interested in using IMified with MSN, Yahoo, GTalk and Twitter. I tried updating each network individually to test it out today, and got strange results.
Network value "MSN" updated both GTalk and MSN, not Yahoo or Twitter.
Network value "Yahoo" updated both GTalk and MSN, not Yahoo or Twitter.
Network value "Gtalk" updated none of the 4 networks.
Network value "Jabber" updated GTalk and MSN, not Yahoo or Twitter.
Network value "Twitter" updated Twitter, and none of the other 3 networks.
My bot's general identifier is Botbot (***@bot.im). Any help resolving the above would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Gautam
