I have to say something.....
I originally posted here because when this thread first started two of my bots stopped working; so I was posting because I thought it had something to do with the problesm others were having.
I wrote the above paragraph in past tense because my bots have been working perfectly since that time, in fact they were working perfectly before that time also but apparently there was a small problem that stopped them from restarting for a day or two.
In any case, I do not personally understand the statements here like "imified be going to go to the dogs" (vietnam you are not the only person that feels that way) because I think what is happening is a very few number of guys that have full time jobs and are offering a free service are trying like the dickens to ensure the service stays operational. It is a fairly new service and thus in some cases still has some bugs that they are trying to work out.
Let mew emphasize "free service". I know they are under the umbrella of a larger company but I am sure that company bought the "idea" and that the same people for the most part are maintaining it since it started.
Maybe we should all have patience and allow them to work - if you are having trouble make sure you read the dosumentation because this service is simple; however, it can be very complex if you do not follow the instructions. I know I got caught in a state where I was having some trouble and could not get my bots working and it turns out a lot of what was wrong was my operator error.
Be patient, they will get to your trouble... my bot has been working fine for a long time with the occasional time when it does not restart on it's own and I have to do it manually.

I have added ***@bot.im to my gtalk friend list but i am not able to use it. All it does is reply to my messages by sending me d same message i typed.
For example the conversation looks like this:
me : m
imified : m
how do i fix this?

would like to know how to add bot directly to the users registering to our applciation .

Could you please clarify your question? I'm not sure I understand.
IMified does not provide a way to automatically add your bot to other
people's buddy list.
